Please I don’t believe in spending so much for a wedding gown dat would be used just that day…..I v seen a pretty wedding gown for 35k, but the location is far from me, again I v bn thinking, is it possible to return a gown to the vendor and then she uses it for the rental services i.e, I buy a brand new gown and arrange with the vendor to return it at a fixed rate.
Except you have made prior arrangements with your vendor (and he/she deals in renting out or buying back used wedding gowns), then the answer is NO. Typically, when you buy your wedding gown and work out of the store, that’s it. No returns.
You can however trade it in to businesses that offer such services. Better still, you can sell it to other brides using sites like ebay, craigslist or any other sites offering the same services. You’ll make more if you sell it yourself versus trading it in.
Another thing brides who want to avoid the huge cost do now is rent their gown or buy a used one. Chances are there are such businesses around though they might not offer the gown you want should you decide to rent.
So my advice is talk to your vendor as well as other brides and see what they have done with their gowns. Hope this helps!
